🌟🌟🌟 The No. 5 seeded Ohio State men's gymnastics team finished second in the first qualifying session with a score of 320.294 to earn a team spot in the NCAA Championships on Saturday night.
Chase Davenport-Mills finished with the highest score of the session on floor (13.966), while Parker Thackston did the same on pommel horse (14.900) and Kristian Grahovski did so on high bar (13.733). Thackston's 14.900 was the highest score of the session on any event.
In December, Head Coach Rustam Sharipov told us of the challenges and opportunities for this team that:
"I think the challenge is, it’s not just for us, for any student athlete, is to stay healthy throughout the season and for the postseason. That’s what we’re trying to focus and build, that the guys make sure that they’re physically and mentally prepared, because the season is long.
