The largest global annual gathering of Indigenous Peoples is taking place this week at UN Headquarters in #NYC, bringing together participants from around the world to call for greater efforts to protect and preserve their rights. “Indigenous Peoples are bearers of cultures, knowledge and ways of life that have sustained humanity for thousands of years.
