When the fast-moving #SpringsFire triggered evacuation orders and warnings in Riverside County earlier this month, CAL FIRE was ready. Thanks to California’s investment in enhancing our response capability, CAL FIRE was able to mount an aggressive initial attack with both air and ground resources. Aircraft and crews worked together to put the fire out, support evacuations, and protect lives and property.
