Final walkthrough day with Derrick and the TaylorMorrisonHomes team! We actually did this back in early March, y’all. We had zero idea we'd still be waiting for a buyer for our current home for another month plus at that point😩... so in a lot of ways, we were standing on faith without even having all the pieces lined up yet. One thing I didn’t realize until this stage is how intentional the blue tape walkthrough really is… you're not just there to look lol; now is the time to be super hands-on. Sinks, faucets, toilets, cabinets.... open, close, turn on/off, flush EVERYTHING to make sure it's working as it should. If you ever build, don’t rush this part; slow down and really pay attention to the details. They took care of all our blue tape items so quickly and thoroughly, which we truly appreciated.
