Here’s the harsh truth about parenting… You can love your kids equally and still miss what one of them needs individually. ❤️‍🩹 Hearing my child say she feels like her younger sister gets more attention was a GUT PUNCH 😢. And it humbles you real quick, especially when you feel you are doing all the things right. But that moment wasn’t for me to argue her feelings or make excuses as to “why” but to encourage her to be honest. I’m grateful she felt safe enough to tell me… because now I can do better.
