To the multitasking, superhero moms juggling their time and energy between children in the hospital and at home, we see you and appreciate you—and you’re not alone. 🤍   Brighton has been in Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) since mid-December and his mom, Kerry, has remained by his side. Kerry is strong and steadfast, championing for Brighton while staying connected to her husband and three children 6 hours away, at their home in Missouri. Brighton was born without kidneys, a rare condition called bilateral renal agenesis. He’s receiving dialysis and has undergone 6 surgeries to date. A tiny fighter through it all, Kerry has loved watching him grow, reach milestones and fight and defy the odds.   Kerry’s advice to other moms is, “Be accepting of the help that’s offered—it allows you to be present and focus on your child.
