Washington D.C.’s interim Police Chief Jeffrey Carroll said an international auto theft ring targeted vehicles in D.C., Maryland and Pennsylvania. Carroll said the suspects indicted Wednesday have been connected to 117 vehicle thefts that happened in 2025 in D.C.
