The @barbiethemovie was so inspiring in so many ways! There were so many inspiring messages that resonated with me and I’m sure with you too. One of my favorite things about the movie is that we can all interpret it in different ways. Barbie was given to choices to stay in Barbieland in her comfort zone (the pink shoes) or go into the real world, find herself and the truth (the brown Birkenstocks). In my opinion, the fact that at the end she was wearing Pink Birkenstocks, shows that she realizes she can get the best of both worlds. She’s taking back control of her body by going to the gynecologist and breaking societies expectations of her. I loved this ending and her outfit in it as well!
