PCOS sucks!! When i was 13 i was diagnosed with PCOS. The doctor walked in after a sonogram and told me that i would never have children. She said it would make me gain weight, and continued to tell me all the horrible things It did. I remember hearing this at 13 and being horrified. The truth is doctors don’t know enough about this disorder. They don’t know why it’s hard for women with PCOS to lose weight, and why our periods are so painful. They don’t understand why we have such a chemical imbalance. They don’t know why it’s so hard for us to get pregnant or why we have so many miscarriages. Yes, women with PCOS can have kids, it is harder but with the right medication, it is possible. Finding the right support system of doctors is so important. A gynecologist that understands, and fertility doctor with PCOS experience. Im finally on the right medicine and i have a baby plan in motion. I will not let PCOS win!!
