I founded R.E.A.L “Realistically Embracing All Ladies” at SUNY New Paltz at a time in my life when i wanted to make a difference in the world but i didn’t know exactly how. I wanted to help women love themselves and embrace their curves. I wanted to create a safe space for women to help and support each other. R.E.A.L has grown bigger than i ever imagined and i am so proud of all the students that have kept the dream alive!! Every person i met last night at their annual fashion show genuinely loved and cared for the organization and i couldn’t be any more prouder. Last night a high school student came up to me who was visiting her cousin so happy to hug me and thank me for creating real. It made me realize how badly we need organizations like this for our youth. A huge lightbulb went on... you can’t be a influencer if you aren’t influencing your community in a positive way! I have so many ideas!! I can’t wait to be apart of more events and see how big we can expand!!! #realembrace real...
