Aurora native Nia Evans is making a name for herself as a standout in collegiate basketball, continuing to elevate her game and represent her hometown at a high level. A graduate of West Aurora High School, Nia recently completed her sophomore season as a guard, putting together an impressive year: • 19.3 points per game • 6.6 assists per game • 5.3 rebounds per game • 47% field goal shooting • 81.8% from the free throw line During the season, Nia broke her own scoring record twice — including a career-high 41-point performance — showcasing her growth and impact as a leader on the floor. Off the court, Nia is majoring in exercise science and plans to stay in the sports field, with the goal of helping and supporting other athletes in their development.
