“Having obtained an undergraduate degree at UNLV that prepared me so well for my future studies and career, I cannot think of a better way to help my colleagues than to assist in the education of their children.” Wynn Resorts and its Chief Executive Officer, Craig S. Billings, '97, have established a $2 million endowment to create the Craig S. Billings Endowed Scholarship for the Children of Wynn North America Employees. The fund will support the children of Wynn Resorts employees who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in business, engineering, or hospitality at UNLV. The first scholarships will be awarded for the fall 2027 semester, 30 years after Billings graduated from UNLV with a degree in accounting. Drawing on his own experience balancing work and school, Billings worked with UNLV to create a program designed to help those students with the need for financial assistance to stay on track academically while preparing for careers in fields critical to Southern Nevada’s workforce.
