Rayshawn Williams ‘20 ‘22 is a United States Marine Corps veteran and dedicated UNLV volunteer. He gives his time to the UNLV Veteran Voices Project, Rebel Vets student organization, and the UNLV Veterans Alumni Chapter. We’re proud to highlight Rayshawn’s volunteerism during National Volunteer Week! “I have really enjoyed volunteering at UNLV. Volunteering creates a sense of belonging and camaraderie, and there always seems to be a reciprocal effervescent feeling at the end of a volunteer experience. Regardless of your background or purpose, if you pick up the torch and run with it without an expectation of someone looking at you, when you are ready to stop running, there will be a hand open to pass the torch to continue the run. If you look around and you feel that there is a calling to help in some capacity, ask yourself, "if not me, then who..?” Thank you for all you do, Rayshawn! #NVW
