𝕁𝕠𝕟 𝕊𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣 is this week’s 𝗚𝗼𝗛𝗼𝗳𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮.𝗰𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, presented by armyrotc ❗️ Hofstra graduate student Jon Singer made the most of his first start in a Pride uniform in the team’s 20-5 win over Hampton on Saturday. 

Singer made 14 saves for the Pride and added a ground ball in the victory. It was the most saves Singer has made in a game at Hofstra. He had a stellar .737 save percentage. 

Singer, now in his second year at Hofstra, was making his first start in net since April 27, 2024, when playing for Ursinus. The 14 saves are the most for Singer since tallying 16 against Washington College on April 20, 2024. 

The start came on his “Senior Day” as well. 

Singer also played nearly five minutes earlier in the week against nationally-ranked Yale and didn’t allow any goals.  🦁 #PrideOfLI
