We are deeply proud of the two meaningful ceremonies our TanenbaumCHAT students, faculty, and staff created to commemorate Yom Hazikaron. Last night at Beth Emeth Synagogue, our community gathered alongside representatives from the Province of Ontario, the City of Toronto, the Canadian Armed Forces, bereaved families, and members of the broader Jewish and allied communities to honour Israel’s fallen heroes and victims of terror. This morning, our school came together in the Meyer/Finkelstein Gymnasium, where students shared powerful readings and songs in tribute to those who are no longer with us.
