Anthropic's new Claude Design can now generate fully working prototypes, improve layouts, and build much faster than before. Work that usually takes hours or days for humans can now be done in minutes with Claude Design. Because of this, some parts of a designer’s work are getting automated. Especially repetitive tasks like creating variations, aligning layouts, or following design systems. Claude Design can also use brand guidelines from tools like Figma or GitHub, which makes its output more consistent. The role of a designer is slowly moving from execution to direction.
