Luka Pravica ’27 is building a future in science through research and discovery. A chemistry and applied physics double major, Luka has embraced hands-on research at Trinity, designing experiments, contributing to publications, and presenting at conferences—experiences often reserved for graduate students elsewhere. “I love to research,” Luka says. Trinity’s science programs and lab resources stood out to him. “That got me thinking, wow, this is a small school, but it has the resources of a big school.” Through his work in biology professor Brian Teague’s lab, Luka has explored how research can tackle real-world challenges, from renewable fuel production to cancer. Along the way, he’s also found a strong sense of mentorship and community. “I have a really nice support system here,” Luka says. “Professors are very, very close with students.
