The 2024 Indigenous Nationals has concluded, with the Maaliwah’s efforts throughout the week displayed clearly in their 8th place finish in a field of 32. The Maaliwah put in an admirable team effort, reaching finals in three of the four sports in the competition. The team rallied together through both setbacks and triumphs to achieve this ranking. The Indigenous Nationals is a week-long multi sport competition for Indigenous student athletes which aims to bring together student athletes and from universities across Australia to compete in sport, celebrate the rich sporting culture of Indigenous Australia, and acknowledge the heritage and history of the participants. 🖤💛❤️
