Nothing quite like ripping a mile in Iowa on a Tuesday night 😅 I had so much fun testing my speed & racing the US Road Mile Championships. I ended up running a PR of 4:30.4 (I wish the Strava time were accurate, but unfortunately the quest for sub-4:30 continues 🫡) and placing 6th. I definitely finished feeling like I could have run it a little differently, but overall I’m happy. Time to train for a couple weeks, and then take on the US 5k champs 🤗 Congrats to all the amazing athletes that raced the mile, especially graciedhyde and addywiley who will represent the US at world champs!
