Last year, I had a crazy idea to skateboard across America and become the first woman to do it.
119 days later, that idea became real.
I’m so proud of myself and the team who chose to take this on with me. This wasn’t easy. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done. Sleepless nights, early mornings, days blending together, living out of tight spaces… just figuring it out as we went.
And we did.
I’m still in the process of getting the Guinness World Record officially approved. It’s been a year, a $20,000 fee, and a whole lot of waiting… and I still haven’t heard back.
But the record is real.
It’s been validated by recordsetter and documented by countless news outlets who followed the journey as it unfolded.
More than anything, I’m grateful. To everyone who stopped, who skated with me, who believed in me… you’re the reason I made it across.
