And before they even throw…
they’re already out of it.

That’s it.

Because the second your focus shifts to results, your body follows.
Your tempo changes.
Your arm slows down.
Your command disappears.
Now you’re pitching with hesitation.
And hesitation gets hit.
The best pitchers in the world aren’t calmer because the moment is smaller.
They’re calmer because their focus is smaller.
They shrink everything down to something they can control.
Not the inning.
Not the score.
Not the hitter.
Just the next pitch.
