Being part of the joalimaldives team and spending time on this island has been something really special. Coming here as a retired player, having experienced the game at the highest level, and then stepping into a place where girls football is still finding its feet… it puts everything into perspective. Working with the local girls, seeing their commitment, their curiosity, and the way they embraced every moment, that’s what stayed with me. No noise, no expectations, just a genuine love for learning and playing. I’m just grateful to have shared a small part of the game with them and hopefully inspired them to believe in what’s possible. #joalimaldives
