A pancreatic cancer diagnosis changed everything for the McCarthy family.
When Lee Ann McCarthy was treated at City of Hope Orange County, her family saw firsthand the expertise and compassion of the team caring for her. After her passing, her husband Tony and daughter Kylee turned their grief into action — organizing a Walk for Hope team in Lee Ann’s honor and raising more than $40,000 to support pancreatic cancer research.
What began as a tribute to a beloved wife, mother and grandmother has grown into a lasting commitment to help other families facing cancer.
Today, Tony and Kylee continue to lead their community in support of City of Hope — proving that even in the hardest moments, generosity and love can bring people together to make a difference.
