From its gold finish and details like founder John Paul Riddle's signature on the nose to its role as the first aircraft our flight students learn to fly, the Skyhawk represents both our legacy and our future. Our Prescott Campus received a centennial Diamond aircraft of its own, a shared celebration across the Embry-Riddle family. For decades, the Cessna 172 has been the cornerstone of Embry-Riddle flight training, evolving from analog cockpits to advanced avionics and now immersive virtual reality experiences that prepare the next generation of aviators.
