Regenerative agriculture is one of those terms that can sound abstract until you see what it actually means on a working farm. For the organic family farms that supply our milk, it looks like this: the herd rotates through pastures on a roughly 30 day cycle, never overgrazing a section. Compost goes back into the soil each season, building organic matter and water retention. Perennial grasses develop deeper root systems year over year.
