💯 April 15 was a historic day in the City of Venice, with a Rededication Ceremony held in Centennial Park. Mayor Nick Pachota read a resolution rededicating the park for the City’s Centennial, and presented recognition plaques to former City Mayors and past and current City Council Members in attendance, who also signed the resolution. Then Mayor Pachota revealed the Time Capsule Monument, with City Manager James Clinch showing off some of the items to be placed inside the capsule - to be opened in 50 years. The Venice Chorale closed out the ceremony with a performance of the official Centennial Song, “Venice, Forever Home.” For 100 years, the Venice community has grown through vision, resilience, and the dedication of its residents. Thank you to the pioneers who laid the foundation, the leaders who guided its progress, and the citizens who continue to shape its legacy. #Veniceat100 #venicecentennial #100yearsofvenice
