METRO COLLISION ⚠️ Eleven people were injured after a work vehicle collided with a Silver Line Metro train early Wednesday morning, according to Metro officials. Metro says to expect significant delays.⁠ ⁠ Just after midnight, the last Silver Line train of the day was stationary on the tracks at the Metro Center station when a work vehicle collided with the train's rear. There were 27 riders on the train, according to Metro.⁠ ⁠ D.C. emergency officials were on the scene to help with injuries. The 11 riders who were hurt have injuries that aren't considered life-threatening or serious, according to Metro.
