From protests to town hall meetings, student activism has manifested in many forms throughout the University of Missouri’s history. Generations of student activists have stood up for their beliefs and created change in spaces across Mizzou’s campus.
“Young people just have a way of not quitting,” said Bridget Haney, a historian at the State Historical Society of Missouri. “This idea of just letting it go for the better good just to get along, it’s just not something that young people do.”
