From student ➡️ front office mindset 🏈 Students had an incredible experience participating in the 2026 Virtual Mock Draft hosted by Cal Lutheran’s University. Chesa Kalu, Alex Loomis, Brandon Joseph, Jack Kushner, and Cole Wilbourn spent weeks analyzing film, breaking down stats, and evaluating talent like real NFL scouts. The team acted as GM’s for the Texans & Falcons, eventually taking 3rd place overall out of 32 participating teams. Big moves included: 🔹 Trading for the Giants’ 2027 1st round pick 🔹 Landing our top target Caleb Banks (DT, Florida) after trading down 🔹 Adding QB Jalen Milroe as a high-upside play The biggest takeaway? There’s so much more to roster building than just talent, scheme fit, cap space, and long-term strategy all matter.
