Calling all #Scouts in grades nine through 12!   The deadline for the President Gerald R. Ford Student Writing Challenge is almost here (as in, Thursday, March 13, at 5 p.m. EDT).   President Ford was a Distinguished Eagle Scout, and now it’s your turn to show your leadership through writing. YOU(th) are asked to respond - in 500-750 words - to a thought-provoking prompt. First place takes home $2,500 - and a whole lot of honor, too.   Hit the link in our bio for 1) the official prompt and website to submit your essay and 2) top essay tips for Scouts.   PHOTO CREDIT: The National Archives and Records Administration   #ScoutingAmerica #ScoutsBSA #EagleScout #GeraldRFord #PresidentFord #StudentWriting #ScoutSkills
