Today, we’re proud, excited and undeniably honored to congratulate Benaiah S. on reaching this hard-earned milestone. A member of Troop 204 of Cary, North Carolina, Benaiah has served his community, learned valuable life lessons, grown in character, embraced the great outdoors and grown closer to his family through
#Scouting.
We were able to chat with his mom, Susan, a bit about
#ScoutingAmerica and how it has impacted her life.
“I really don’t know where to begin with what Scouting has meant for my family,” she says. “My husband, William, and oldest son joined in 2010...I honestly think he has gained as much or more than our two Eagle Scouts! Scouting has been a HUGE part of our lives. Our Scouts especially enjoyed their once in a lifetime experiences in Alaska [and at] The Summit, Philmont and Sea Base!”
