TrackASUC, a new student-led initiative, aims to provide transparency about the ASUC to UC Berkeley students by providing access to data such as the attendance of elected officials, voting records and financial decisions.
The account published its first post last Friday, on the day of the 2026 ASUC Election tabulations. In the post, the account said TrackASUC is “looking forward to a year of transparency and accountability.”
The account was founded by campus senior Guadalupe Garcia Lopez as part of a capstone project. He is currently involved in the LXAI Fellowship, co-organized by D-Lab and the Latinx Research Center at UC Berkeley, to facilitate opportunities for Latine graduate and undergraduate students to build foundations in AI and data science.
