Jennifer Baquing, the former social media manager and events coordinator of Bobby G’s Pizzeria on University Avenue, is suing the corporation running the restaurant and its directors for wage violations and a breach of written employment agreements. Baquing filed the suit March 19 with Alameda County’s Superior Court. Baquing claims in the filing that she entered into a yearlong employment contract with her employers that was set to expire in October 2026. However, Baquing states in the suit that she was allegedly terminated early, without cause or notice, in December 2025.
