Here are some words of wisdom from alumni Alexa Buxbaum, class of 24’, and a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi, and a Former Council Leader. “I started my freshman year at UConn during Covid while my family was simultaneously moving to another country. It was terrifying. I knew at school I would need to take the extra step to find my community. Very soon after arriving on campus I joined my organization, Alpha Epsilon Phi. I remember feeling so moved by the sorority’s philanthropies, values, and quite literally got the chills while watching videos about the community. From this organization not only did I find my people, but I discovered a vast array of opportunities to help me grow, including serving on my chapter’s executive board. The following year, an opportunity to serve on the greater council level arose and I knew it was right for me.
