♥️💡VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK! We simply could not run the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum without our amazing volunteers! We honored them recently with a luncheon and awards ceremony. Total volunteer hours (2025): 13,212 hours Estimated national value per volunteer hour: $34.79 (sourced here) Total estimated donated time: $459,645.48 Several special volunteers were honored with the Bev Henry Award, named after a volunteer who gave her time to the nonprofit museum for more than 20 years! Each winner received a $100 gift certificate donated by Columbia Restaurant.
