Clients hair is naturally a level 5 and so I didn’t want to lift to a pale yellow as I would then have had to tone it back down again. Instead I lifted to a level 9, so it had a little more warmth present. When doing an application like this you want to think: ‘where would the lightness naturally hit?’ It’s all about working smart, not hard.
