I first heard about Walking Tacos (or Frito Pie as some refer to them as. Different parts refer to them as different names. No one is right or wrong🤦🏻♀️😑) when I was a Girl Scout and we made them at sleep-away camp. This is nothing my Mom ever made for us, but I enjoyed making them for my kids when they were small. You can use Doritos instead of Fritos also!
Also, I use oats in my chili because they asorb the liquid as the chili cooks, trapping the flavors into the grain. Oats also give the chili even more of a hearty texture, helps to thicken it and packs tons of extra nutritional benefits since it’s a great source of fiber
