Spring Porch Refresh: Container gardening doesn't have to be complicated. I couldn't resist these two perennial Peach Drift roses for my front porch. I planted them in 16" self-watering planters from Target with some potting mix. Then I added some annuals for texture, filler and spiller including: one Purple Homestead Verbena, three Victoria Blue Salvia, three White Petunia and 2 Creeping Jenny for each plantar. These varieties are said to all be good in full sun and should allow the roses to still be the starof the show. Bonus: Not only do the roses look good, but they have a lovely fragrance, too.
