I have been volunteering at the Historic Midwest Theater for about a decade now. I've taken tickets, filled sodas, ran a register, organized the basement, and cleaned those spills that go all the way to the bottom of the theater. I've been on the stage performing, in the audience watching, and in the concession stand working. The Midwest Theater has become such a special place to me. Tonight I was able to attend the annual Friends of the Midwest Theater meeting where new board members were welcomed and some were said goodbye to.
