Meet Terri and Jeff! Our lovely fosters since June 2025. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful family fostering animals in need. Terri and Jeff started fostering after they realized having a dog full-time was not possible but learned about the idea of fostering from Terri’s sister. It soon transformed not only their lives, but the lives of the pups they took in for the better. Terri shares, “Turns out we COULD have a lot of part-time dogs even if we COULDN’T have one full-time,” and after fostering Belle, they were hooked! Since then, they have fostered Amara, Josie, Black Tie, Gingerbread, Dottie, and Valentine. They truly demonstrate their love and adoration for each of these dogs when they say that they are “part of our family story.” Jeff and Terri would like you to know that “the best thing, apart from all the tail-wagging, doggie kisses and cuddles, is that we have the full support of the SHS team.
