I don’t often post about what I’m teaching in my chemistry classes, but today I thought I’d make an exception. Acid base chemistry can be tricky and quite challenging for students especially when analyzing buffered situations. But understanding how acids and bases work is critical! Our blood is a buffer, able to withstand attacks by both acid or basic molecules. If it wasn’t, we would be in trouble! #chemteacherphil #chemistry
