This is a really fun experiment you can try at home. Add some water and yellow dye to a bottle. In a separate bottle, pour some blue glitter and acetone together. The dye from the glitter will dissolve into the acetone. Carefully pour the blue acetone into the bottle with the water. This should form two distinct layers. Cap the bottle and give it a shake, it should now be green! Add a decent amount of table salt to the green solution, cap and shake vigorously.
