I was SO inspired going into 2025 on mat leave… and honestly not feeling the same energy heading into 2026 when I went back to work. I couldn’t figure out the disconnect until I heard the Tony Robbins episode on Diary of a CEO. He talked about the difference between living as a creator vs a manager and it hit me hard. Last year I saw myself as someone designing my life. This year I slipped into just managing it. Nothing about my role as a working parent takes away my ability to create, I just needed to reshuffle my mindset and remember I still have more control than I think. Different season.
