It’s a bit of a funny mix of languages because I only speak to my daughter in French, my husband only talks to her in Flemish (Dutch), but him and I speak to each other in English. We met in Belgium but now live in Canada and while my daughter isn’t exposed to Flemish very much, she’s been able to pick up quite a lot and add a French twist to it.
