I have, and always will be a notorious optimist. That doesn’t mean I’m naive or not enraged by what’s currently going on, I’m absolutely sickened. What’s happening is wrong, wrong in so many ways and unacceptable. The world feels so heavy and scary, but it’s always in these moments where I remind myself there are WAY more good people out there than bad. And if we all join together we CAN make a difference. Because I believe wholeheartedly that hope, love, acceptance and community always wins over evil. So channel that rage into making a difference but don’t let it harden you to the beauty that is still present. Our children are watching and will learn from our example.
