Amid the record-setting crowd in Pittsburgh for the NFL Draft, there was one small group that could heavily influence the city for years to come. Hours later, the group watched NFL teams select players inside the Draft Theater — a custom-built “love letter” to Pittsburgh, one top NFL official said, complete with replicas of the city’s iconic Sister Bridges, Warholian pop art and franchise decals fashioned from repurposed steel scraps.
