What that looks like specifically, no one can say. Not everything that He gives is to make us self-sufficient. Not everything is meant to fix us in place. Not everything leads to understanding. Such things are given so that we must continually look to Him. God’s people once hoped for a land to dwell in, a place to live under His care. Now, the inheritance we look toward, through Jesus Christ, is no different. We are not made to stand on our own, but to live in continual dependence on Him.
