Spring Operations Update: After Sunday, April 26, The Bird transitions to weekends-only skiing/riding. We’ll be closed midweek next week, then reopening Friday-Sunday (May 1–3). This shift is intentional. Closing midweek will hopefully allow our mountain operations teams to preserve the snowpack, reset surfaces and prepare terrain so we can keep conditions as strong as possible heading into each weekend. The goal: extend quality spring skiing as long as we can. We’ll keep things rolling on weekends with snow, sun and Plazapalooza, jamming to live tunes on the Plaza Deck from Noon - 3 pm (with Mitokandrea playing this Friday, 1 - 4 pm). After May 3, we’ll reevaluate snow and weather to determine if it’s time to set that closing date or keep this party rolling. See you this weekend, 8 am - 2 pm. #GMTB
