Caroline (Class of ’05) got her start on the UC Rally Committee as an undergrad student, where she realized her passion for Cal could become a career. After graduating, she found her home at UC Berkeley—and she’s been here for 20 years since! In recent years, Caroline has led Alumni and Parents Weekend at Homecoming as Director of External Relations. It’s a year-long effort that brings together about 200 staff members across campus. This year, her team organized over 140 events for more than 3,000 attendees. After this year, she’ll pass along the “Homecoming Tiara” to her successor, keeping the celebration in great hands. She leaves the Cal community with this advice: “When you’re a student, make sure to get engaged and meet as many people as you can.
