On November 16th, we commemorate Louis Riel, a leader, advocate, and visionary for Métis rights and identities, whose unwavering commitment has left an invaluable mark on our history. In recognition, the Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) will be streaming the Métis Nation of Ontario’s virtual learning opportunity on November 15th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Bring your lunch and enjoy a space where we can all learn and reflect together. 🗓️ Friday, November 15th, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. located in the Indigenous Student Centre. In addition to the virtual session, the ISC will be hosting a finger weaving event focused on learning about significant moments in Métis history, including Louis Riel’s life and the reasons behind celebrating Louis Riel Day.
